For Parents & Guardians
The School Esports Education Tour is designed with student safety, wellbeing and learning at the center. This page brings together key information for parents and guardians.
We believe esports can be a positive force for digital skills, teamwork, creativity and new career pathways when it is structured, supervised and balanced with school and family life.
Below are some of the most common questions we receive from parents about esports, our events and school visits. If you have any additional concerns, please reach out using the contacts further down this page.
Our events and school sessions are structured and supervised. We work directly with schools and follow their safeguarding rules. All activities are designed to be age-appropriate and focused on learning, teamwork and healthy competition.
We work with titles that are popular among students, while respecting age ratings and school policies. For school visits, the emphasis is on education about the industry: careers around esports, content creation, STEM and media, not just gameplay.
A core part of our talk is about healthy gaming habits: time management, balancing school work and hobbies, and understanding when to take breaks. We actively encourage students to prioritise their education and see esports as an opportunity, not a distraction.
We respect school policies and parental expectations. For younger students, we focus on the wider world of gaming and digital careers without displaying graphic or inappropriate content. Any gameplay or footage used is carefully selected and can be reviewed with the school ahead of time.
For school visits, we primarily work through the school administration. We do not collect personal data directly from students without clear consent and purpose. Any information shared with us by the school is handled in line with our data practices and the school’s own policies.
The School Esports Education Tour is designed as an access-focused initiative. In many cases it is free for students to attend, with costs handled through partners and sponsors. Any special costs or contributions will always be communicated through the school.
Sessions are held in partnership with the school. That means teachers or designated staff are always present alongside our team. We follow the school’s safeguarding, behaviour and attendance procedures at all times.
Parents and guardians can contact us directly using the details below. We also encourage you to inform your child’s school so we can work together to resolve any issues quickly and transparently.

Schools remain responsible for collecting and managing parental consent for student participation, photos and videos. We follow the consent status provided by the school at all times.
Any photography or filming is done in partnership with the school. Students without media consent will be excluded from photos in line with school guidance. We are happy to run events with no media if preferred.
We limit the personal data we collect, and only keep information that is necessary for running safe, organised activities. Any additional data use (e.g. newsletters) will be clearly explained and optional.
All students, staff and partners are expected to follow our behaviour and respect guidelines. Bullying, harassment, discrimination and cheating are not tolerated at any NEC or school tour activity.
