Code of Conduct & Safeguarding

How We Keep Students, Staff & Communities Safe

This page explains the behaviour we expect from everyone involved in the School Esports Education Tour students, staff, volunteers and partners and how we approach safety and safeguarding.

Student Code of Conduct

Students taking part in our sessions, tournaments or online activities agree to:

  • Treat other students, staff and volunteers with respect.
  • Avoid bullying, harassment, hate speech or targeted insults.
  • Follow school rules, local laws and age ratings for games.
  • Listen to instructions from teachers, school staff and 3 Crown Esports staff.
  • Take care of equipment and facilities provided for the session.
  • Never share passwords or personal information publicly.

Serious or repeated breaches may lead to removal from an activity and follow-up with the school and parent / guardian.

Our Safeguarding Principles

  • Children and young people’s wellbeing is our top priority during all activities.
  • We work alongside schools and follow their safeguarding procedures on site.
  • Any concerns raised by staff, volunteers, parents or students are taken seriously.
  • Staff and volunteers avoid private one-to-one communication with minors online.
  • We aim to keep communication transparent, professional and accountable.

For formal safeguarding queries or complaints, please see the Contact & Safeguarding section.

Photography, Video & Content Use

Some activities may include photography or filming for documentation, learning or promotional purposes. We understand that families and schools have different comfort levels with images of students.

  • We work with schools to follow their consent process.
  • Where required, we use opt-in consent from parents / guardians.
  • Students who do not have image consent will be clearly flagged to our team.
  • Images are stored securely and used in line with the agreed purpose.

If You Have a Concern About Content

If you believe a photo or video should not have been taken or published, please email legal@3crownesports.com and include:

  • School name and state.
  • Date of the activity, if known.
  • A link or screenshot of the content.
  • Reason for your concern.

We will review and respond as quickly as possible and work with the school to agree next steps.

Staff & Volunteer Behaviour

  • All staff and volunteers must act professionally and respectfully at all times.
  • No private social media or messaging relationships with minors.
  • No gifts, money or items offered directly to individual students.
  • Physical contact is kept to what is appropriate and necessary (e.g. high-five, handshake).
  • Concerns about a student’s safety are escalated through the school’s safeguarding lead.
