Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of 3 Crown Esports Limited websites, tournaments, events, platforms and related services (“Services”). By registering, accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Parties & Eligibility

“3 Crown Esports Limited” (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides esports tournaments, events and related services to users (“you”, “player”, “team”, “user”).

• Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country).
• Minors: If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
• Legal Competence: By registering, you confirm that you are legally allowed to enter into these Terms and are not barred by any applicable laws or restrictions.

2. Accounts & Registration

• Account Creation: Some Services require an account. We may accept or reject registrations at our discretion.
• Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
• Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. We are not responsible for loss arising from unauthorized access caused by your actions or negligence.
• Multiple Accounts: Creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited and may result in bans or disqualification.
• Suspension/Termination: We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you violated these Terms or applicable laws.

3. Tournaments, Events & Competitive Play

• Event Rules: Each tournament or event will have its own rules. By joining, you agree to follow both event rules and these Terms.
• Eligibility Checks: We may request ID, age, residency or other verification to confirm eligibility at any time.
• Fair Play: Cheating, collusion, account sharing, smurfing, match-fixing or exploitation of bugs is strictly prohibited.
• Officials’ Decisions: Referees, admins or Company officials may issue rulings. Their decisions on match results, penalties and disputes are final for the purposes of that event.

4. Payments, Entry Fees & Prize Pool Payouts

4.1 Entry Fees & Charges

• Some tournaments, scrims or events may require entry fees or service charges.
• All fees must be paid in full before participation and through the channels we specify.
• Fees are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated in event-specific rules or required by law.
• Fraudulent payments, chargebacks or disputes may result in account suspension, disqualification and possible legal action to recover losses.

4.2 Prize Pool Structure & Conditions

• Prize pool amounts, breakdowns and qualification criteria will be published on the specific event page or rulebook.
• All prize pools are subject to:
  • Final verification of results and standings.
  • Successful completion of any required identity or eligibility checks (KYC).
  • Provision of accurate payment details by the winning player or team representative.
• We reserve the right to adjust, withhold or cancel prize payouts if:
  • a player or team is found to have violated event rules or these Terms, or
  • serious technical or integrity issues (including cheating, exploitation or match-fixing) are discovered.

4.3 Prize Pool Payout Timelines

To protect the integrity of events, manage sponsor payments, and complete necessary checks, prize pool payouts are not processed immediately.

• Mini / Community Events: Prize payouts will be processed within a minimum of 14 working days from the later of:
  • the date final results are confirmed, and
  • the date all required payout and verification information is received from the winner(s).
• Major / Big Events: Prize payouts will be processed within a minimum of 40 working days from the later of:
  • the date final results are confirmed, and
  • the date all required payout and verification information is received from the winner(s).

4.4 Additional Payout Protection Terms

• We may require winners to complete verification forms or provide bank / payment details before any payout.
• If a winner fails to provide accurate payment details or required documentation within a reasonable period communicated by us, their prize may be delayed or considered forfeited.
• Any bank charges, currency conversion fees or third-party processing costs may be deducted from the prize amount, as applicable.
• The Company is not liable for delays caused by the winner’s bank, payment provider, sponsors or other third parties.

5. Code of Conduct

By using our Services, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against other players, staff, partners or spectators.
• Use obscene, hateful or defamatory language in chat, voice or usernames.
• Use cheats, hacks, bots, exploits or unauthorized third-party tools.
• Impersonate other individuals, including Company staff or tournament officials.
• Engage in fraud, deception, collusion or any unlawful activity.

Violation may lead to warnings, disqualification, removal from events, forfeiture of prizes and permanent bans.

6. Intellectual Property & Content Rights

• All logos, designs, graphics, websites, tournament materials and software created by the Company remain the property of 3 Crown Esports Limited.
• By participating in our events, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use your username, team name, likeness, logo, gameplay footage and voice in broadcasts, highlight videos, social media posts and promotional materials, unless prohibited by law.
• You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute or resell our content or software without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• Our Services are provided on an “as-is” basis, without any express or implied warranties.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of tournaments, websites or platforms.
• We are not responsible for issues caused by game publishers, internet providers, streaming platforms or payment processors.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of our Services.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 3 Crown Esports Limited, its directors, staff and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your:

• breach of these Terms or event rules;
• violation of any law or third-party rights; or
• misuse of the Services.

9. Modification, Cancellation & Force Majeure

• We may modify event schedules, rules or formats if necessary for operational, integrity or security reasons.
• We may cancel or postpone an event due to technical issues, low participation, legal restrictions, safety concerns or events beyond our control.
• We are not liable for delays or failures caused by force majeure events such as war, natural disasters, strikes, sudden platform outages or government actions.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• Parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes amicably or through mediation before pursuing legal action.
• Where legal action is necessary, disputes shall be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Our handling of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy on this same page. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as explained there.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this section. Your continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
